Day 85 - The Big City and the Mendocino Coast

We stopped off in SF to have a coffee with Eleanor & Matt, then continued on up the coast - picnic lunch in Healdsburg on the town square amongst a mixture of other picnickers. Our destination was Mendocino but when we go there in the late afternoon, we were turned away by all of the hotels because they had a very strict “essential workers” policy. You needed to either have a letter of proof or be homeless. We were dangerously close to the latter. So we pushed on to Eureka, arriving in the night.
