Day 51 - A Walk Through California, Sort of
This walk, about a 4-mile loop, drops down through the old-growth of Schmitz Preserve to Alki Beach. It’s like traveling south along the 101 in Northern California through Redwoods National Park then on down to Malibu - all in just over an hour. It’s saved us day after day after day. The loop finishes with a stunning view of Seattle before ascending up - fittingly - California Ave back to the alpine heights of West Seattle. Ok, I exaggerate. But the natural beauty is there, every day.
