(Day -1) Everything's Normal, Nothing's Normal

In the past seven days, the number of cases in the U.S. increased 4-fold, doubling about every three days. We’re starting to get nervous. Fran and I are a bit concerned about our flight tomorrow. Should we wear masks? (No, they will not stop anything from getting into your lungs). Should we wipe down our airplane seats? (Yes, definitely).
On the eve before our return to Seattle, we were tired of home cooking so I walked down the street to the local Mexican restaurant to get take-out. I was surprised to see the restaurant completely full of people.
